On October 9, as a major event of the first Huaqiao Fashion Innovation Conference, the 2024 Textile and Apparel Global Layout Summit was held in Kunshan. At the meeting, the International Supply Chain Committee of China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce was formally established.

In Kunshan, there are not only more than 30 million cashmere coats sold worldwide every year, but also well-known brands at home and abroad such as Mai Orange and Dowell. As an advanced example, Morningwind Fashion Creative Industry Park has settled 150 fashion creative enterprises and institutions of all kinds, attracted 85 independent designer teams, also emerged the Beijing Winter Olympics clothing designers Chen Peng, Wang Fengchen and other outstanding talents, incubating more than 30 new clothing brands, the industrial park's output value reached 1.6 billion yuan last year. It has become a new landmark of the most dynamic fashion industry in Kunshan and even the Yangtze River Delta region.

As one of the Yangtze River Delta regional linkage activities of Shanghai Fashion Week this year, the 2024 Textile and Apparel Global Layout Summit is to actively respond to the new changes in the current and future international economic and trade environment and the new changes in the accelerated restructuring of the global textile and apparel supply chain, and guide the industry to actively carry out a comprehensive international layout such as trade, market, supply chain, brand and investment. At the meeting, the International Supply Chain Committee of China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce was formally established, and Yin Guoxin, founder of Morningwind Group, served as the first rotating chairman of the committee. The event appointed five specially invited expert advisers to the committee, and awarded the founding member units. The committee will play the functions of public service platform, exchange and cooperation platform and industry think tank, provide all-round and multi-level services and support for member enterprises, and promote the development of the industry to a higher quality and higher level.
